Let It Be Time

I wrote this a few years ago and thought it might be a prayer for all to pray during this time of unsettlement. I changed the date within tor reflect today.

Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.

Lord, 

we do thank you for the blessings you have given our nation that we do not deserve. But Lord, it is almost 2021, and we, the American people, deeply need a moral and spiritual renewal.

Let it be time for our country to come back to you.

Let it be time for our country to listen to Your wisdom and walk-in integrity as a nation. 

Let it be time to let You back into our schools.

Let it be time for each of us to approach you humbly personally. 

Let it be time for all hatred and violence to give way to Your godliness.

Let it be time for Your truth of light to shine in the darkness.

Let it be time for our leaders to call upon Your ways.

Let it be time for our leaders to have the courage to align their actions with Your will.

Let it be time for all America to acknowledge You as Lord and Savior.

In the powerful name and authority of Jesus, Amen.
