Encountering Purpose

Encountering Purpose

Everyone searches for life somewhere. God has placed this quest in each of our hearts. This desire drive’s us to Him. Because we were made for Him, it is only God who can satisfy the longings He has put in our hearts.

Major W. Ian Thomas said;

 “There are those who have a life they never live. They have come to Christ

    And thanked Him only for what He did, but do not live in the power of who He is.”

It is important to realize you can search for life in only two places. Either you have found life to the fullest vertically or you are searching for it horizontally.

When I stopped the search for significance and started understanding my identity is in Christ, my world transformed, and I started living in the words of Jesus; “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” With Ephesians confirming as well as commanding to be all God intended,   “For we are God’s workmanship/masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good work, which God PREPARED in advance for us to do.” (We are saved to serve, not serve to be saved).

Our Encounter Weekend on August 12-14,  Live with Purpose, goes into detail about understanding your identity in Christ.  We help guide you to whose you are, who you are, and help you find your piece of the puzzle, the work God has prepared for you in advance.

Stop existing through life and start letting God lead your life! When He does, you have passion, perspective, and purpose!  Registration for all Encounter Weekends starts Friday,  April 1st.  Announcement of the link to register will be on our Facebook page and Instagram Friday morning.

Father God, we desire to be more like you! May we glorify you in becoming everything you intended us to be in this life! May we all look to You to satisfy our longings and meaning on this earth.  Thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit within us, that we may live in a spirit of power and not fear!  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
