Bulletin Bloopers

Choose to Soar is off to a great start for 2020! Stay tuned as we will be launching a new web site! You will be able to download some free resources as well as take advantage of some of our 10th Anniversary specials. We are so grateful to have been equipping and empowering women who are making a significant impact in the Kingdom.

It is a busy time at CTS now with the upcoming bible studies, plus our Women’s Leadership Development training February 8th, I thought it might be time for something a little light to bring some laughter to your day.

I call this “Church Ladies-Unplugged.” Church bulletin grammatical bloopers.

*Sunday Morning Sermon—Jesus Walks on Water. Sunday Evening Sermon—Searching for Jesus.

*Don’t let worry kill you off—let the church help.

*For those of you who have children and don’t know it, we have a nursery downstairs.

*Evening service topic will be, “What Is Hell,” come early and listen to our choir practice.

*Please place your donation in the envelope along with the deceased person you want remembered.

*Potluck supper Sunday at 5:00 pm-prayer and medication to follow.

*Tonight at 7 pm there will be a hymn singing in the park across from the church. Bring a blanket and come prepared to sin.

*The Associate Minister unveiled the church’s new campaign slogan last Sunday: “I Upped My Pledge- Up Yours.”

I better not get any snide remarks about this next one.

*Ladies Bible Study will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 am. All ladies are invited to lunch in the Fellowship Hall after the BS is done.

Lord, thank you for laughter, as it is good for the soul. May we all have joy in our hearts and laughter on our lips. Praising You Lord in all things. In Jesus Name, Amen.
